These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.fclinsurance.com (the "Platform"), operated by Fclinsurance ("Fclinsurance," "FCL Insurance," "we," "us"). By accessing, browsing or submitting information through the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. About our services

Fclinsurance is an online insurance comparison platform for customers in India. We let you compare Health, Auto, Home and Life insurance plans from leading insurers side by side, in plain language. Fclinsurance is not an insurance company: we do not underwrite policies, issue policy documents, collect premiums or settle claims. We connect you with licensed insurers and advisors so you can choose and purchase the plan that fits you best, and the resulting contract of insurance is strictly between you and the insurer you select.

2. No cost and no obligation

Comparing quotes and plan features on Fclinsurance is completely free, with no hidden charges and no obligation to buy. Submitting a quote request does not create an insurance policy, provide cover, or reserve a premium. Cover begins only when the insurer accepts your proposal and issues a policy on its own terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to use this Platform. By submitting information through our quote or contact forms, you confirm that the details provided are accurate, complete and your own, or that you are authorised to share them on behalf of the person concerned.

4. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on the Platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Platform without our written consent.
• Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable or impair its functioning for other users.
• Copy our comparison content, tables or guides for republication on a competing service.

5. Quotes, premiums and plan information

Quotes, premiums, sums insured, IDV figures, waiting periods and plan features shown on the Platform are indicative and are based on information supplied by insurers and by you. They are not an offer of insurance. The final premium and terms are decided solely by the insurer after underwriting, and may differ from what is displayed here. Plan details are subject to change without notice, and availability may vary by your age, city, vehicle, property, medical history or other underwriting factors.

6. No insurance advice or guarantee

Content on this Platform, including blog articles, comparison tables and the Health, Auto, Home and Life insurance category pages, is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax or insurance advice. Always read the official policy wording, prospectus and schedule, and consult a licensed advisor, before making a purchase decision. See our Disclaimer for further detail.

7. Third-party insurers and links

The Platform may reference or link to third-party insurers, including but not limited to Care Health, HDFC ERGO, ICICI Lombard, Axis Max Life, TATA AIG and Star Health, all of whom are regulated by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). These references are for comparison purposes only and do not imply endorsement by, or partnership status with, these companies beyond what is explicitly stated. Fclinsurance is not responsible for the content, policies, pricing or practices of third-party websites, and your dealings with any insurer are governed by that insurer's own terms.

8. Enquiries and contact

When you submit a quote request or an enquiry, you consent to being contacted by Fclinsurance, and by the insurers or licensed advisors relevant to your request, in connection with that enquiry. We support customers by email so that every query is documented and routed to the right specialist; our team typically responds within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday. 9. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, the FCL Insurance name and logo, and design elements, is the property of Fclinsurance or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Insurer names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

10. Availability of the Platform

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Platform for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control, without notice and without liability to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fclinsurance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, your reliance on any content herein, any inaccuracy in indicative quotes or plan data, or your interactions with any third-party insurer or advisor referenced on the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Fclinsurance harmless from any claims, losses or damages arising from your misuse of the Platform, your submission of inaccurate information, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising from your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the location of our registered office in India.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
